Eric grew up and currently resides in Bedford, New York, where he and his wife, Ellen, raised their triplets: Sayre, James, and Peter. He served formerly as a board member of the Bedford Historical Society and Neighbors Link and is currently a director of the Committee for the Great Salt Pond on Block Island, Rhode Island.
