Gordon Ogden joined Byrnam Wood in 1997, as a principal. Prior to that time, he worked at a number of large- and mid-sized real estate firms in the area of tenant representation, including Pearce Urstadt Mayer & Greer, Pattison Partners, Insignia/ESG and CB Commercial. He has been a member of the Real Estate Board of New York since 1985.
Gordon has worked on major transactions for virtually all of Byrnam Wood’s clients, in New York and around the world. Recent transactions include leasing headquarters offices in Tokyo; advising clients on space alternatives and terms in Sao Paolo, Brazil; working with NIKE on its New York headquarters space, and working with law firms and advertising clients on space needs around the United States.
Aside from his success in the real estate world, Gordon incorporates a variety of philanthropic activities into his life. He has been a Board Member of his alma mater, the Collegiate School (New York, NY), since 1996, is past President of the Alumni Association and current Chairman. Gordon is also a Board Member of Boys Club of New York and sits on the Grounds and Realty Committee as well as the Volunteer Recruitment Committee.
